We wanted to provide some quick guidance for electronic scoring matches in PlayHQ. There is plenty of information and support available to help scorers get up and running, so we wanted to put everything in one place for you to easily access.
In order to login to the PlayHQ Electronic Scoring site, scorers must have electronic scoring-enabled PlayHQ account (CLICK HERE TO LOGIN). Hampton’s club administrators give electronic scoring access to the representatives from each team who will be responsible for logging into the Electronic Scoring application. If you don’t yet have access please contact your Team Manager who can organise this for you.
The PlayHQ e-scoring platform is web-based (it is not an app) so you need to access it via a browser on your Laptop, Tablet or Mobile. Please ensure that your device is fully charged (or a charger is connected) and to live-score use a dependable WiFi or 4G/5G connection.
All settings such as game type (2 Day, 1 Day or T20), number of overs, number of dismissals, maximum bowler overs etc. are all preset by the association managing the competition (e.g. SECA). These settings will flow through to the e-scoring application and are not required to be set up by the scorer. If you believe some of these settings may be wrongly applied, please contact your association or competition manager.

Enjoy the scoring experience, look to other parents for help and always work as a team with the opposition scorer to ensure players (both juniors and seniors) get the best experience possible without any headaches or issues.
We recommend that the HOME team scores live via a device connected to the internet, supported by the AWAY team who can help ensure accuracy via a second device (not connected to live scoring) or manually in a book.
If you get stuck please just contact your Team Manager who will reach out to one of the club admins for support or call the ‘PlayCricket Support’ team on 1800 274 25 38
