Another of our UK recruits, Andy played 10 games for Hampton in the 2018/9 season. Andy made a great impression as a seriously quick opening bowler who, despite missing the last three games through injury, took 21 wickets at the impressive average of 13. He took 4 wickets in both games against Beaumaris.
As an 18yo playing at Acomb CC in the UK city of York, Andy was one of 4 quicks competing in the final for the Top Gun trophy of 2015 – for the fastest young bowler in Yorkshire – he clocked in at 130 kph just a touch behind the winner.
Andy played two first class games for the Cardiff MCC University team against Glamorgan and Hampshire. More recently he played for New Farnley CC in the Bradford Premier League taking 108 wickets at 18 between 2017 to 2021.
Andy relocated to London this year to work as a Risk Analyst and is now playing for Teddington, one of London’s premier clubs in the Middlesex Premier Division where he has already taken 34 wickets at 19.
